My Thoughts On
Natural Joint Care For Dogs
My hope is in this article on Natural Joint Care For Dogs, I have provided a conclusive picture of how you can keep down joint problems with your fur babies. When using natural supplements, it can help maintain the joint health in your dogs and help to keep their joints healthy by keeping the cartilage in tact as they age. One important way you can help is with the right exercise routine as pointed out in the video above. Through my research I found that even though, problems with joints in your dogs are developmental issues or hereditary, using supplements to help keep down the pain can give your dog and much more healthy, happy and well-adjusted life. I hate the idea of dogs having to take pharmaceuticals leaving them with other side affects and if an all natural supplement can help them why not give it a try. Can we get rid of pharmaceuticals? I don’t think so completely; however, being proactive through a natural approach may be the answer.Other Articles On This Website That Might Interest You:
Hello Dena,
In my own exploration of the pain niche, back pain, I have become more aware of how some health issues between humans and their furry friends are related.
For example, treating arthritis with CBD is a favorable step in the healing treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis for those who are looking for an alternative to pharmaceuticals.
Also, weight gain often puts more stress on human joints the same way it does on dogs. Overall, a very interesting post that will help people get rid of pharmaceuticals while preventing their dogs from suffering joint pain. Thanks for sharing.
Hello Thabo, glad you stopped by and left a great comment. I appreciate you bringing your expertise and understanding of pain, as it is really beneficial to everyone here. Humans and dogs do have some of the same health issues and arthritis is a major issue in our furry friends. I do have to agree CBD and exercise working together can really make a difference for both people and dogs. It really is important to keep your dog at a good weight as it does keep more stress off the joints creating less wear and tear on their joints. If you can supplement all natural such as CBD it is much healthier for our fur babies and none of the side affects that pharmaceuticals leave behind.
Wow, there is some new ones on me here! Celery? Not sure if I can get my pup to chew on a stalk but may be able to get it in his diet. He does like sweet potatoes! CBD has been working great! That was the switch I made after hearing from a new vet the dangers of aspirin that his old vet had him on. As they get older bleeding risk can be a real issue! Always grateful for your great tips!
Hi Christina, thanks so much for leaving a comment and so glad you are looking at alternative ways of keeping your dog healthy. If changing something in your dogs diet can help them get through arthritic issues, I am all for it. Celery is one of those that majority of dogs turn their nose up at and will not touch; however, you can try maybe putting it in the blender and mixing it with their food or they really like sweet potatoes you can mix them together. My Tracker he will almost eat anything that we eat including celery until he got a hold of a piece with ranch dressing now he will not eat it plain anymore. We have had to be creative so we generally put it in the blender and mix with food.
I am so glad you are not giving aspirin anymore, as it can cause bleeding issues and I do feel an all natural CBD supplement is a much better choice.
I definitely learned a lot from your article. I had no idea that 22% of arthritis cases are in dogs under a year old. That’s amazing. My Norwegian Elkhound, Autumn, suffered from arthritis and I wish I had known of the alternatives when she was alive. Unfortunately, I lost her 11 months ago and miss her. I plan on starting my little Lola dog on CBD oil because she is now 6 years old and although I see no symptoms or problems, I would like to keep her as healthy as possible, so I’m going on the “preventative” measures. Thank you so much for sharing your information!
Hi Brenda, so glad you left a comment. I am so glad you feel my article was informative. Yes younger dogs can fight the battle of arthritis and dog owners may not even realize due to their age that is what they are facing. I am so sorry to hear that you lost Autumn it is so hard when we lose one of our fur babies. It is great to hear that you are going to start your little Lola on CBD for preventive measures, we know as are babies get older the chances of arthritis and joint problems increase. I love what CBD is doing for mine and want to share that information to keep all dogs naturally pain free.
I love your website. It is evident you love our fur friends. And you write about so many areas we need to be aware of, to take good care of them. And I appreciate all your posts.
This article is one of the many that I love reading. The details and information you gave about joint care, what are the possible causes, the symptoms to look out for, and what are the natural joint care available is superb!
I especially like the option of CBD Oil. It is new and shows lots of promise. And I have read in your other articles that you use this on your dogs, and it works very well. I would use this for my fur friends, and I highly recommend everyone to do so too.
Thank you! 🙂
Thanks so much for leaving a comment and I am thrilled that you love the website. I have been working diligently for years trying to find all natural products that can really help our fur babies live healthy, happy and well-adjusted lives. I do feel with the discovery of using CBD Oil with dogs, that this is an awesome break through and I know it has really improved my dogs lives. Thanks so much for the recommendation and helping to spread the opportunity to help are dogs live much better lives.
You are right of course, when our “fur babies” get sick we take them to the Vet. Many times this results in the Vet prescribing pharmaceutical drugs to treat the ailments. This is both costly and has many unwelcome side effects. Thank you for saying that not all joint issues are in older dogs. My friends dog has chronic arthritis and she is only 4 years old…. well short of official “old age”. Thanks for these great tips on how to keep arthritis at bay and help preserve the cartilage as long as possible. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for leaving a comment and sharing about your friends fur baby.
Pharmaceuticals can be very costly, I know one prescription of Rimadyl cost me over $40.00 for just a week supply. Protecting your dogs joints are an important factor when trying to give your dog the best life possible and yes the can inherit this nasty disease at an early age making your dog miserable. Keeping their weight down, using good supplements and maintaining the right exercise plan can really help to keep arthritis at bay.
